I really appreciated that we were such a small group (only three people), which meant the instructor could take plenty of time for each of us. He always made sure everything was well understood and that we felt completely safe.
After we had learned all the necessary skills, we were also very well guided during the dives in the open water. This allowed us to fully enjoy the beautiful underwater world while feeling safe and confident at all times.
I can absolutely recommend this dive center. Everything was well organized, very professional, and so much fun & would happily do next courses again here 🐠

We did 4 dives and ended up signing up for 2 additional fun dives. Starting out with a fear of sharks and being underwater in low visibility, I found myself enjoying the experience and will definitely be returning! Special thanks to Todd for being a legend through this whole experience and always keeping it fun while remaining professional.
I was bit worried about my rescue diver course since I heard extreme opinions on it. With 60 dives to come in, i realize an instructor/ dm can affect my learning experience, especially in the overwhelming sessions, like OW or rescue. Buuuuuuuuut Na was making it such a lovely memory at the beginning of 2026.
She is super super patient, compassionate, extremely confident in the water. She can handle all my weird random questions, and give me bit challenge to drive me forward, which I 1000000% appreciated. I followed up with nitrox and wreck diving course with her, which was the moooooooost cool thing I have done
Anyway if you are looking for a good experience learning diving, find Na. Or it will be you that’s missing out tho ✨✨✨✨
Alex was absolutely incredible. He explained everything clearly, always made sure we felt safe and confident, and somehow kept things fun the entire time. You could tell he genuinely cared about us learning properly, not just ticking boxes. I came away feeling knowledgeable, comfortable in the water, and excited to keep diving. He even gave us a ton of recommendations for non diving activities and places to eat around the island !!
The course was 10,000 baht per person, which was great value for how much instruction, dive time, and support we received. There were zero problems or issues the whole time, and everyone involved was so friendly and welcoming.
This place is the perfect mix of total professionalism and genuine fun. I couldn’t recommend it more and would absolutely dive with them again. If you’re thinking about getting certified, do it here, you won’t regret it!
Our dive instructor, Tom was so knowledgeable and made it such a memorable, fun and safe experience for us! We started in the pool learning the basic skills then moved onto the ocean the next day. Tom explained everything clearly and was always open to answering any questions we had.
The rooms were gorgeous with free water at reception and all the dive equipment handled very well.
We also did a lot of research of different dive schools on Koh Tao, this was the best bang for your buck with staying 4 nights.
They also had a very cute dog.
Our instructor, Oli, was exceptional. Extremely professional, calm, knowledgeable, and confident. From the very first dive, he made everything feel safe, clear, and well-structured. His explanations were precise, his attention to detail was impressive, and he always made sure we truly understood what we were doing — not just following instructions.
What really stood out to me was the balance between serious training and enjoyment. Oli pushed us to improve while always respecting our limits, which made every dive both challenging and fun. I felt completely confident underwater thanks to him.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn diving the right way, with a top-level instructor and a great atmosphere.
I highly recomend doing the Divemaster course at Crystal Dive as not only did they have everything I needed to complete the course in ease, but they had way more than I expected for the price I paid. It was clear that they were committed to providing top-notch equipment and support, making my dive experience truly unforgettable.
Overall Crystal Dive introduced me to the marine world and I am so grateful that I chose them.
