ADVANCED OPEN WATER COURSE
Already certified? Ready for the next step? … Take the plunge & become Advanced open water diver!
In just 2 days you will be a Advanced Open Water Diver, giving you a lot of benefits and expanding your underwater experiences.
As a newly certified diver or already more experienced you gain valuable experience building up on what you will learn in 5 extra dives with your Instructor in a small group of max. 4 students.
You can choose which dives you are interested in for your personal Advanced Course (including options like Wreck Diving, Photography or Night Diving) and as you will get a ticket to dive to 30 metres (100 Feet) you will then hold a certification opening the doors to all the best dive sites worldwide.
You will take 5 dives spread over two days including the Deep & Navigation dive with one of our experienced multilingual Instructors to take you to the next level…
Now it’s time to take the plunge!
This is How you get to the next level:
over 2 days you will take 5 dives including the deep & navigation dive to dive to 30 Metres (100 Feet)
Depending on your personal schedule we will adjust the program for you and move elements of your personal course to accommodate for your holiday plans, but in general, these are the parts of your training:

Part 1: Theory & Land practice
The theoretical part of the course is very “lightweight” compared to your initial course and a lot more focused on your interests in scuba diving.
You will receive your own Advanced Open Water E-Manual which contains information about all the existing activities and adventure dives worldwide.
Out of these you will choose 3 dives as your elective dives on top of the 2 mandatory dives, which are your deep and navigation dives.
Once chosen you will work through the chapters which explain all the important information specific to this area of diving, plus a little section called “Thinking like a diver” which will make you more aware about the basics and safety you learned in previous courses.
For some dives, like navigation, there may be a little land practice before you go on the boat to make it easier for you to visualize the dives at hand.
There is no exam at the end of this course, you will pass the theory once you reviewed the Knowledge Reviews with your instructor.
Part 2: Your 5 Adventure Dives
You will take a total of 5 Adventure Dives over two or three days depending on your choice of dives, time frame and preference.
We always try to adjust your schedule depending on the dive sites chosen for the day as well as comfort and experience level.
In general, some of the dives like Navigation or Buoyancy Control Diving ask for slightly shallower sites and we use those to get started to work on air consumption, general underwater skills and to get to know each other on Day 1 of your course.
As you will be taking a Deep Dive, we generally combine this with some other dives that are naturally deeper (like our favourite, Wreck Dive) on the second day of the course.
Depending on your choice of dives you may be joining our night dive trip on either day of your course, take another dive on either day or simply stay another day and take the remaining dive together with a fun dive to get even more experience. It’s up to you!
