I had a day taster with Michaella and she was absolutely fantastic as I was very nervous and going there to be with my friends.She took me through the whole process and seemed genuinely proud when I managed to do the crucial parts to get into the sea.I went for a dive and saw a sting Ray and a massive pufferfish both quite rare. I'd say it was well worth it and something I'll never forget.

I can totally recommend Crystal! It’s a very professional and well organised diving school. And they make you feel very welcome and comfortable. I did the PADI Open water and PADI Advanced Open water course with Michaella and had a great time with her. She was a very good instructor, took a lot of time to explain everything to me and made my dives unique.

Me and my partner came to Crystal Dive to do the open water course and it was nothing short of amazing. Their base is full of fun and professional instructors who are all clearly great friends. It’s also situated right next to the pier making it really convenient especially if you are staying in their accommodation or one they recommend. We chose to do the e-learning option prior to our arrival which made our time on the island much for enjoyable. We had the pleasure of being taught by George who not only put a smile on our faces the whole 3 days but also went above and beyond, sending us his local recommendations and the best places to visit on the island. George was also an extremely good teacher who was very encouraging and explained things well. I would highly recommend Crystal Dive and would definitely come back to do my advanced.

I did both my open water and advanced course with Crystal Dive and I enjoyed every minute of it! My instructor Tom made sure both courses were fun while still being taught to a high standard! I'd recommend Crystal Dive to anyone looking to do fun dives or get qualified while on Koh Tao.

An absolutely incredible experience! Aex, our instructor, definitely made our time the best it could’ve been! From training and guiding us in the pool and our ocean dives with both great professionalism and humour, to taking us to his favourite local restaurants encouraging us to try delicious local dishes, to meeting us on his day off to take us snorkelling with sea turtles, watching the sunset at a viewpoint and then to an all you can eat Thai buffet. Our experience was incredible! The other staff and customers we met at Crystal were equally as friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! I hope to be back to Koh Tao in the future and will definitely be returning to Crystal to join some fun dives or complete more PADI courses! Thanks again Aex:)

I couldn’t recommend crystal dive enough! Especially my instructor Tom! I initially started with my open water dive but then decided to do my open water advanced. Tom went at everyone’s pace making sure they were alright throughout the dive. Making sure everyone enjoyed every dive! Would recommend crystal dive to anyone I meet or my friends and family from home; making sure to ask for Tom!Now I got this I can do amazing dives in Bali, Philippines and Great Barrier Reef and anywhere in the world!Thanks for everything!

The facility offers an impressive array of equipment and a well-designed training pool where beginners are thoroughly prepared before venturing into open sea dives. The trainers are exceptional, providing both expertise and encouragement throughout the learning process. A special mention goes to our trainer, Bo (Ronald), who stood out not only for his remarkable skills and deep knowledge but also for his patience and genuine passion for teaching. Bo made the experience truly unforgettable, guiding us with confidence and care every step of the way.

I recently completed my Rescue Diver course with Tom at Crystal Dive, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! Tom’s expertise, patience, and thoroughness made the course both challenging and highly rewarding. He went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the training was clear, practical, and enjoyable.After the course, I also did some fun dives with Mimi, who was fantastic! Her enthusiasm and passion for diving were infectious, and she guided us to some amazing dive sites. Mimi’s knowledge of the local marine life added an educational aspect to our dives, making them even more enjoyable.Overall, my time at Crystal Dive was unforgettable, thanks to Tom and Mimi. I recently completed the Rescue Diver and Nitrox courses at Crystal Dive, and it was an amazing experience! Michaella, my instructor, was fantastic—super knowledgeable and made even the most challenging aspects of the course feel manageable. She explained each concept/ skill clearly and took the time to ensure I felt confident in the skills before moving on. She kept the course engaging and fun and I was always kept busy practicing rescue skills while out on the boat. A big shout-out to dive master candidate Johnathan, who assisted throughout the training and was always enthusiastic and ready for me to practice my rescue skills on him!After finishing my courses, I got to do some fun dives with dive masters Tobi and mimi and instructor Au, they were awesome! They really knew their stuff and made each dive enjoyable.The facilities at Crystal Dive were great, and the vibe was welcoming and friendly. I left feeling more confident in my diving skills and ready for more adventures. Highly recommend Crystal Dive for anyone looking to improve their diving skills and have fun while doing it!

Most professional dive school in Koh Tao. Lots of posers on the island that will sell you on different things but Crystal delivers and can tailor experience to be flexible to your schedule. You’re in good hands with Alex. He’ll show you the best stuff on the island and blows some of the meanest bubbles in the Far East too. Absolute legend.
