Chose Crystal after looking at a few recommended dive schools - definitely made the right choice!The center is very organized and well managed - down to booking dives and courses, diving equipment, accommodation, onboard team at the boat.Did here my Open Water and Advanced certifications and enjoyed it so much I did Deep Dive Specialty too.Claire the instructor was amazing! She was super energetic and fun and at the same time professional and made sure everyone is safe and comfortable (shoutout to Natalie the best assistant instructor!)Evan the instructor was also awesome and very knowledgeable.The whole of Crystal team are super nice people and making a good vibe with laughs on the boat and on land.It was also the cheapest center I've seen if you do both OW and Advanced with them, AND they offer a free private room for the duration of the course (and discounts if you do specialties or fun dives). Even the full price for the room is pretty cheap at 800 baht, and the room is great with private bathroom.Can't recommend enough!
I got recommended Crystal Dive and spent 5 days doing the Open Water + Advanced Adventurer certification with Michaela... had a great experience! Crystal sorted my partner & I a room for the duration of the course (by the way, accomodation is great - private rooms with en suite bathrooms, clean, spacious, right next to the dive centre, ideal for early starts). The course was well run with the first day spent in the pool practicing skills and the following 2 days of OW spent practicing skills in the sea and a fun dive at the end (4 dives total). Michaela was very knowledgeable and coached us through various tips, tricks and rescue manoeuvres. I was a bit nervous going in the sea at first but quickly gained confidence. We were required to do some reading online before/during the course and finish our exams one evening, so there's not much chance to do much else if you're on a course. The Advanced Adventurer was a great follow on as it's 1.5 days (5 dives) and gets you certified to 30m. There's loads of follow on courses but the AA course gives you a taster of what you can specialise/train in afterwards. Overall a solid company to do your SCUBA training with. They have their own dive boats (and pier), plenty of equipment, well located and every person I met who worked there was lovely.
Few days ago i was anxious to breath with an apparatus under water at considerable depth.I took my training with a dive master called Michaella.Now i don't feel anxious underwater in fact i am really enjoying it!Did i develop a sense of temerity and understood the sea all by myself🤷♀️? Definitely not, it is thanks to Michaella. She is not just joyful she is a proper professional and a good teacher.Also, mention spéciale pour Jean Baptiste👌.
Completed my open water diver and 2/5 advanced open water courses. Alex was an excellent instructor, great knowledge and teacher - grateful to have had him show me the ropes! Honourable mention to Ben as well, great instructor for my advanced courses! Overall the only place to dive if you’re in Koh Tao I cannot speak highly enough. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, plus the accommodation is great too.

My boyfriend and I recently completed our Open Water Certification and we had such a fun time diving with Crystal. Our instructor George was incredible. Diving did not come naturally to me and I got really freaked out on one of the dives and didn’t want to complete the course but George calmed me down and was so helpful and reassuring and I really trusted him and ended up absolutely loving diving. The final dives were so fun and I felt super safe with George as I knew he had our backs. His teaching approach was super fun, professional and safe. And we loved it so much. Thank you for an amazing experience George and Crystal! We are already talking about when we can get time off work to come back and do the next course! 🤿🤙
We dived twice today with Alex who was great. We enjoyed both dives and look forward to diving with Alex and Crystal Dive again.

I recently did my PADI Open Water Certficate with Crystal Dive. I was nervous about the test and training dives. Since I did PADI and they are switching to SSI I was the only student with my instructor. I did the theory online and therefore only had to complete the test (20 questions) in person. I did end up catching a cold which delayed my training by two days. This wasn’t an issue and the instructors were very flexible. My instructors were Jonathan and Todd. They were both great and patient which made me comfortable and relaxed. There are thousand of diving centers on the island but I can highly recommend Crystal Dive! You also receive 4 night free or discounted accommodation plus a t-shirt when you finish. They have a big pool and boat, great location and the nicest employees!
