I had an absolutely great time, felt safe and well educated at every moment. Michaella is a great teacher who will watch out for everyone and make sure everyone feels good and is safe. She explains everything calmly and you can notice that she has great experience and that diving and the ocean are her passions.
I had a great time learning to dive at Crystal with Ana. She was very good at explaining all the concepts required to keep us safe and teach us how to dive. She was also fun to be around all of the time!The centre and staff and accommodation was all very well organised. When I got sea sick and wasn’t able to make one of the morning dives, I was able to simply do a dive in the afternoon.The accommodation included with the dive course price on the island was a big bonus and there were many food places to eat around the centre.
After looking at what felt like a 1000 dive centres, I decided to choose Crystal dive and it was the best choice I made. I had the most amazing experience obtaining my open and advanced water certification. The facilities and staff were brilliant. Ana my instructor put me at ease from the minute we met. Her passion for diving and the way she instructed and shared the learning was just amazing. Highly recommend them!!
Crystal Dive with our instructor Claire was one of the most magical experience ive had in awhile! My friend and I both attended the 6 day Open Water and Advanced OW certification end of Nov. Had two others join us, and with our powers combined, we tackled the classes, pool and ocean one after another!Clare and her assistant Trent were always extremely attentive, keeping us in check and teaching us all of the things we needed to know, and alot of extra fun information about the island, types of fish, other places to dive etc.At first it felt very overwhelming, alot go to over, safety rules and guidelines, but after your first dive in the ocean, its all worth it!Claire was always on top of everything, if one member wasn't as comfortable on one exercise, taking the time to teach them. We even got some videos/pictures, and these memories i'll cherish for a long long time. TY Crystal, Claire and Trent!
Completing my Open Water and Advanced Open Water Diver courses at Crystal Dive Koh Tao was a truly rewarding experience.A special shoutout to George, my PADI instructor, who made the 6-day journey an absolute breeze. He explained everything with the perfect amount of detail to ensure we truly understood the fundamentals of diving. George’s ability to balance humor, calm us down when needed, and share his ample knowledge about diving and the ocean made him an incredible teacher.Beyond the diving, his friendly and funny demeanor added so much to the experience, and his local recommendations helped me make the most of my time in Koh Tao. Even though on the last 2 days there was a thunderstorm on the island, it did not dampen the experience.This wasn’t just about ticking off a bucket list item—it was about igniting a lifelong passion for diving. Thanks to Crystal Dive and George, I’m excited to explore the underwater world further. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to start or advance their diving journey!
George is a great teacher, I can recommend him (I did Padi Open Water). He makes sure you are well equipped for future dives and takes care of his students’ independence from teachers.
I did my open water up to divemaster here at Crystal, i had a fantastic experience amd made some friends for life! The quality of teaching i recieved was top notch! Now i have a job because of this. Couldn’t be happier!If you want to become a better diver come here!
I did a SSI Nitrox Course with Evan. Evan explained everything really nice and smooth to make sure I understand everything. I also felt very safe during the two dives in the afternoon. He gave me also some additional Tipps about diving. So the course was excellent !Normally the course takes two days, due to time issues Ben from Crystal Dive arranged doing it in one day so I was very happy about that.I highly recommend Crystal Dive Koh Tao !
My cousin and I did the open water diving course and loved it! Kelvin was our instructor for the first part, and he was an excellent teacher. He seems to really care about the material and the success of the students. For the second part, we had Michaella and she was amazing as well! I had trouble equalizing and she helped me through it and made me feel so comfortable. She also seemed to really care about her students and wanted to make sure we got the best experience we could. Overall, we had such a great time and we loved our instructors!!
I have just finished my open water and deep dive with Crystal Dive. The center is very good, the restaurant and the rooms as well.I would particularly like to thanks Kelvin, my instructor, who passed on his passion for diving to me. I'll continue for sure!His patience and knowledge allowed me to trust him 100% so that I could learn and enjoy in complete safety. The best balance between being serious when necessary and having fun.I also really enjoyed learning about underwater life. If you have the opportunity, don't hesitate to discover diving or you improve your skills with Kelvin, an excellent instructor and a fantastic human.So thank you again and also to the whole team at the center and on the boat.Adi 🙃
Oh my gosh what an amazing experience!! I had such a magical time here with my instructor Michaella. I did the Open Water Diver course which was 4 days and came with accommodation. I started with Kelvin who was super awesome and a great teacher with good enthusiasm. Unfortunately, I got sick on the second day and wasn’t able to make it, so my friend and I took the day off but picked back up the following day for the rest of our theory with Kelvin. Then we got moved to Michaella’s group due to falling behind from our sick day in order to be at level with our class. We completed the rest of our course with her and she was so so great. My friend had a lot of trouble with her ear and equalizing but Michaella’s patience really made her comfortable. Watching how she treated my classmates during their moments of anxiety really allowed me to put full trust in her and learn to the best of my ability. Thank you so much to kelvin, michaella, and crystal dive!!!

We did our open water certification here with Ben, who was amazing! He was so great at getting us comfortable in the water and I don’t think our course could have gone any better! Highly recommend, you’d be lucky to get him as an instructor
