I’ve just finished padi open water and advanced open water with crystal dive centre. It was an experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life and I couldn’t have been in better hands with our instructors George and assistant instructor Evan to take my first steps into the wonderful underwater world!The first whole day in the pool is a lot longer than what other dive centres on koh tao offer. Going more than ten metres under water is a bit scary at first, but having this elaborate training in the pool gave our group the confidence that we needed. George was very strict in making sure that we did all the skills correctly, which helped a lot when we were in the ocean.Over the several dives we did I felt more and more confident. The first dives of open water you have to show that you manage a lot of skills, but after that diving really becomes fun. I’m also very happy that I did the advanced straight after, you learn new more fun skills, like floating upside down or turning 360 degrees around while staying horizontal, but above all, these extra course got me to the point were I’m no longer stressed and can fully enjoy the underwater world 😊Some extra bonuses: the dive centre is very close to the pier, and no need to carry tanks as they are refilled onboard (this is a big luxury, since they are very heavy). During the courses I stayed both in a bungalow and in a room in the building across the centre. The accommodation offers everything you need, good airco, close to all the restaurants and shops, and best of all, next to the dive centre.I also really appreciated the recommendation list of restaurants and sights that George send us. On my day off I did a recommended hike along the shore to some deserted beaches, one of the best things I did on koh tao and wouldn’t have known it existed without.Thank you George and Evan for an experience of a lifetime! I hope to be back soon and I’m definitely thinking about doing some further specialisations at crystal dive!

I did my open water training with Crystal and Vera was my instructor. I enjoyed the training a lot Vera is so amazing, she was very understanding and patient and most importantly her clear and great teaching techniques help me have better understanding with the instructions. I was super scared at the beginning but with Vera assistant I think I nailed it!!! 🤗.The dive site itself was not as I expected but I did see some beautiful fishes that I have never seen so it was still an incredible experience for a beginner like me!Thank you Crystal and Thank you Vera keep being awesome 🤩

The entire organization was very professional and well thought out. The equipment was in perfect condition and was carefully checked before each diving lesson.I was particularly impressed by the commitment and patience of the diving instructor Alex.The dives themselves were breathtaking and it was a fantastic experience. We saw beautiful coral reefs and fascinating sea creatures. The diving instructor always kept an eye on me during the dives, so you always felt like you were in good hands, even underwater.It was an unforgettable experience and I'm looking forward to booking my next course!

Just finished my open water course at crystal dive and couldn’t have asked for more. The instructors, Sandy and Harris were awesome and adapted to your pace. The equipment was top line and the dives were amazing. Was short on time or surely would have done the advanced with them as well. Thank you Sandy, Harris and the Crystal dive team. Will surely come back and recommend to anyone who wants to learn diving on any level

Her expertise, professionalism, and patience were exceptional. Me and my friends had an fab experience trying out diving for the first time with crystal dive! We did the one day discovery dive and our instructors Michaella and Jonah were amazing, they were so supportive and patient with us and really put us at ease the whole day! We couldn’t have asked for a better first time giving scuba diving a go, would highly recommend and can’t wait to do it again 🙂

I bought 10 fun dives and enjoyed every single one of them! The dive centre was well-organised. The dive boat is spacious and the equipment well-maintained. I am a newbie diver and the DMs I've met were all fantastic in providing tips and generally being patient with me. Thank you very much!

Thanks Sandy, Vik, Tobi and the crystal dive wider team for an awesome intro to diving in Koh Tao!!! Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable, equipping us with all we needed to start diving and do our PADIs. Everything ran really smoothly, the accommodation was great and the teaching was fantastic! Can’t recommend this place more if you’re looking to start diving. Just wish we could’ve stayed longer and moved to advanced!

What an amazing and unforgettable experience with Michaella and the whole team of Crystal Dive! As a beginner I could not demand a better teacher: always calm with a smile and with a precise answer to all my questions! I started with zero experience and with the idea of doing only the Open Water course.I ended up loving the environmental friendly approach to diving and the head to head course with Michaella, so I decided to do my Advanced training! Now I have a bag full of amazing memories and the addiction to diving! Thank you it has been a pleasure

We had such a great experience on our Advanced Open Water with Michaella, and would highly recommend her as a teacher. There was never a dull moment. Michaella has an elite knowledge of diving and reefs and provided a great breadth of insights for our learning. We completed dives including Deep, Navigation, Fish ID, Wreck and Buoyancy. The course was easily implemented into our short stay on the island — definitely dive with Crystal and Michaella if you're diving in Koh Tao for great quality teaching, fun and ethical practices.

I had a day taster with Michaella and she was absolutely fantastic as I was very nervous and going there to be with my friends.She took me through the whole process and seemed genuinely proud when I managed to do the crucial parts to get into the sea.I went for a dive and saw a sting Ray and a massive pufferfish both quite rare. I'd say it was well worth it and something I'll never forget.
