Part 1: Intro & Briefing
To start the Try Diver Course, you’ll meet your instructor, get to know each other, and go over some necessary paperwork.
Your instructor will help you get fitted for your equipment and give you a detailed briefing on techniques, safety procedures, equipment use, and the hand signals we use as divers.
They will also provide an overview of how to handle the underwater environment and explain the options available to you after completing this program. There will be a small theory session to ensure you understand all the important points.
Part 2: Pool-Training
Your instructor will prepare your equipment and help you get comfortable with it.
You’ll begin in water shallow enough to stand up, take your first breaths underwater, and practice essential skills needed for your dives.
Once you’ve mastered these skills, your instructor will guide you as you practice swimming with your fins toward the deeper end of the pool. Afterward, if you’re ready, you can choose to start your Open Water Course the next day!

Minimum Age
The minimun age for the Try Diver experience is 10 years old.
Medical Statement
You need to be medically fit for diving. You find the Medical Statement for Scuba Diving here to download. If in doubt, please check with your physician or ask us before booking your dive experience with us.

Can I start my Try Diver experience every day?
In general, yes. We start our courses any given day. To secure your desired start date, we recommend booking your Try Diver Course online HERE. This will guarantee your placement in a small group of maximum 4 students per Instructor.
Is it possible to change the schedule for the Try Diver Course?
Our schedules are flexible and we will do everything to adjust it to your travel plans. Please contact us to arrange for a schedule that suits you within the limits of the Try Diver experience performance requirements.
What are the rates for accommodation in my Try Diver program?
For your Try Diver experience, we offer accommodation in a private AC room (choice of Double or Twin) at a discounted rate for the standard course duration of 1 night. There are also upgrade options available for the adjacent Koh Tao Regal or Beach Club Resort. More information here or just contact us directly.
What are the minimum requirements to start my Try Diver experience?

How many students will be together with me in my Try Diver experience?
We pride ourselves to teach our Try Diver experience in groups of max. 4 students per Instructor. If you travel in a bigger group, we can arrange for multiple Instructors to teach you together. please contact us directly in this case.
